Student & Office Laptops Under RM 3,000: Value Picks at E CUBE

Choosing a laptop under RM 3,000 in Johor requires balancing performance needs with budget constraints. For students and light office tasks such as document editing, web browsing, and video conferencing, you do not need high-end gaming hardware. Instead, focus on a capable processor, sufficient RAM for multitasking, and fast SSD storage to ensure quick boot times. At E CUBE, we offer a mix of refurbished business-class laptops and new entry-level models that provide excellent value for money without compromising on reliability.

If you are looking for the most affordable entry point, the Dell Latitude (Refurbished) priced at RM 1199.00 is a strong contender. This model features an Intel I5 8th Gen processor, 8GB of memory, and a 256GB SSD, running on Windows 11 Home. It offers a solid 14-inch display and integrated graphics, making it suitable for everyday productivity tasks. For those who prefer a slightly different brand but similar specs, the HP EliteBook 840 G7 (Refurbished) at RM 1499.00 provides an Intel Core i5 (10th Gen) processor with 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. It runs Windows 11 Pro, which may be beneficial for users requiring specific business features, and maintains the compact 14-inch form factor ideal for carrying to lectures or meetings.

For users who need more storage capacity without increasing the price significantly, consider the ASUS ExpertBook B1500 (Refurbished) at RM 1599.00. It shares the same Intel I5 11th Gen processor as the higher-end Dell option but comes with a larger 512GB SSD and a 15.6-inch FHD display. The larger screen can be easier on the eyes for long periods of reading or working on spreadsheets. Alternatively, the Dell Latitude (Refurbished) at RM 1599.00 also features the Intel I5 11th Gen processor but upgrades the memory to 16GB and includes a 512GB SSD, offering better multitasking performance for heavier workloads.

If you prefer a brand-new device with the latest architecture, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 15IAN8 in Arctic Grey is available for RM 2099.00. It is powered by the Intel N100 processor with 8GB of DDR5 onboard memory and a 512GB NVMe SSD. While the N100 is an entry-level chip, it is efficient and modern, suitable for light tasks.
